11 months

Semmes was eleven months old yesterday.  I don't know what happened between 10 and 11 months, but Semmes' little personality has exploded.  He is so funny.  He high fives, he claps, he shakes his head no.  All of his teachers, his two at MDO and his ones at Bible study, always comment how funny and happy he is.  It's great.  Plus, he's taking steps and saying new sounds.  His latest thing is playing fetch with himself, which you've seen, and putting things into other things.  He loves to open up the kitchen cabinets, get all the tupperware out, and put it into laundry baskets and the seat of his exersaucer.

He's in 12-18 month clothes and size 4 diapers.  He has six (six!) teeth.  He's eating 3-4 meals of solid food a day plus he's still nursing.

His favorite things are the Elmo books that play sounds, his giraffe that he puts blocks into, and then he likes everything he can get his hands on that aren't toys (TV remotes, cell phones, dog biscuts, etc.).  He loves baths, but hates to ride in the car (still).  All-in-all, he's a great little guy.  Here are some outtakes from his photo session yesterday.  The photo session pretty much sums up his personality.
