Does this look like a kid with pneumonia to you?
Actually, other than being extra tired and requiring a very small amount of oxygen, he is ok.
Brad "graduated" from residency last weekend! Yay!! I use the term graduated loosely; can you really graduate from a job? But either way, it's over. Fellowship here we come! And Brad has the last two weeks this month off. And it's been awesome having him home. I'm going to miss him when he starts back in July. He's been getting his fill of boy time.
These three make me laugh:
1. Cooper bites Semmes' arm.
2. Semmes is NOT happy about it.
3. Cooper gives Semmes a kiss; he's sorry.
Brad reading to Semmes this afternoon. Semmes is starting to hold toys with both hands together.
Cooper started his new classroom yesterday. This classroom goes out on the big playground, they do water play on Fridays, and they have a much longer, more involved story time. Of course he starts this when he has to be on oxygen and is pooping like crazy due to the antibiotic. Typical Coops.
Semmes is doing great. He is sleeping 11-12 hours at night without waking up to feed!! We are feeling much more rested. Now if someone could give my boobs the "he doesn't need to eat at 3 or 4 a.m." memo that would be great. I am having to pump at that time because Semmes is not waking up to eat. And if you try to wake him up he gets PISSED. But at least I'm finally starting to save some milk.
We informally measured Semmes this morning. 25.5 inches. So long!

Loved your sharing on the biting/reconciliation episode. Hope Cooper is well soon & that Semmes keeps sleeping through the night!
