Jesus came to offer ...I'll take the bait Crady! Jesus came to offer grace to God's people to both Jews and non-Jews. He fulfilled the Old Testament - he did not erase it. We live in a fallen world that is full of sin. I believe everyone has the seeds of sin in their hearts because every heart of a human is tempted by some kind of sin (adultery, idols of money, sex or power, greed, stealing, jealously, etc). Some church demonations believe that since Jesus didn't mention music in worship then there shouldn't be any sort of instrument during worship. That makes no sense to me. We are to encourage each other in brotherly love. God created woman out of man for a reason. You do not see his other creations mixing up male and female roles. Take red birds for example since they mate for life. The male red birds are brightly colored to draw attention away from the nest. At first it looks like God blessed them with beauty but it dressed them for battle so they can protect their mate and young. The female red bird is hard to see when she's in a tree and at first just appears to be the uglier of the two. Jesus came so that we had freedom to make mistaakes. If someone chooses a gay lifestyle that is between that person and God. It is not the government's business. A company like Chick-Fil-A has the right to be closed on Sunday's. They also have the right (at least in the USA) to decide on their own company policies. <br />We have prison ministries because Jesus came to save all people from sin. Marriage is hard but so is life. I know God created everyone with a purpose and what the world sees as bad; Christ uses for good. It's not about terrorists and the economy - it's about the human race and what our role is as the gatekeepers of God's creation. He has promised the world will not be destroyed again and as Christians we are responsible for living our lives in a way that brings glory and honor to Him. Let's talk soon! Hope ya'll have a good weekend!Karahttp://whitehouseredroof.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
